A disc filter is a device designed to remove solid particles from liquid streams, commonly drinking water or tertiary wastewater. A disc filter can be used to remove unwanted solid particles that can clog irrigation nozzles or hoses.
Plastic rings are stacked together creating a cylindrical filtration element. During filtration, the rings are compressed together effectively filtering the water and protecting the system from clogging. The lower the micron rating, the finer filtration process.
